Look at how well the 'pillarless' look works on the other golf in the photo...

Maybe very ghetto but if you just want to see what it may look like, stick some black electrical tape on it, stand back and have a look.Mk IV Golf GTI - BMP - GIAC chip, R32 wheels, KW coilovers, rear swaybar.

I Agree with blacking the b pillars makes it look smoother. That and removing the rub strips but thats a bit more messing around. Check sig for what it looks likesigpic

Also, it will obviously look a lot more 'seamless' with tinted windows, but that's another decision.. And I don't mind the un-tinted clear windows for a change.. Kind of works with the silver body.Dark Grey Mk4 Golf, 1.8T GTI conversion, APR stage 1, stock air intake, FMIC, 3" to 2.5" Exhaust, FK AK Street Coils, Black 18" (Avant Garde M310's ?), tinted tails, ...

Creak then a Clunk
So tonight got the car back all fixed from Mike at P&P. All electrics now working again!
BUT!... there is always a but
I have a creak then clunk noise coming from the rear right hand corner
It seems to happen when weight is transferred off this area, not onto it. Is that kind of noise within the normal parameters of coilover noises? Or should I worry my ass off?
Cheers,

Not sure on your noise. Can't say heard it with mine.
Turned out all my wiring to the boot was ****ed, so I got that all replaced and all is well again in the electrics department
So your coilovers make no noises?

Noises, the odd time depending on the angle of attack when going up or down drive ways. A little creak is all. No clunking noises but.
You got a rear bace fitted ? Like the old TST bace ?
Yeah, hopefully someone will know what could be causing it. I don't have a rear brace though
