Why does it have an FMIC? Has it been turboed? If it has, forget any sort of warranty.

hmmmm,,,,was the bora released in australia with the 1.8t motor?? I didnt think so,unless it was a special import.check that it was delivered as a 1.8t motor.then get back to us.
kms are not a issue.
v5 motor is not turbo and hense has no fmic.maybe you are looking at the oil cooler or radiator???

I can tell you now that the 1J Bora never came with a 1.8T. 2.0, 2.3l V5 and 2.8l V6 4Motion ONLY!!!

For $40 000 in receipts this thing is turbo'd most probably a swap or brought in a turbo from the states custom made, never the less this thing sounds nuts by the amount of money spent on it!

Hey guys,

Its a 2.3L V5. From what I could see the FMIC was installed but previous owner never got around to turbo charging it. My mate definatly reckons its supercharged by the way it sounds, but i that it sounds like that coz of the massive air filter on it.

5 year warrenty, serviced by VW all its life + dealer said it would be serviced before i take delivery. Thats a fully covered warrenty + roadside assistance

Not sure weather its an import, but it has a special Wolfsburg Edition Badge on the rear

$40,000 in receipts, a FMIC thats not hooked up to anything... Sounds like you need someone who knows abit to check the car out.

Whats the point of having one thats not hooked up to anything. Thats what Muzzas do to their VL's to make em look like VL Turbos.

As mentioned from what im told, the guy was gonna turbo charge it but never got around to it as he sold the car to buy a house

if you want my advise,,RUN! plenty bora's for sale.... dont buy someone else's problems or make sure you get someone who knows about cars to look at it.
we are not trying to make you feel bad about the car,just giving you warning of what might be ahead mate.If I had time id come and see the car with you.

Im planning on getting an NRMA inspection done on the car. Im supposed to be meeting with the dealer on friday, I will definatly look into the warrenty INDEPTH.

Not easy to walk away mate the reason im crazy over this car is because it have everything done to it that i would want to do, rims, system the works
