I recently changed my suspension setup from a shock and spring combo to some hottuning coilovers. Have had them in for about a week now and when turning right at speed I get a knocking rubbing horrible sound coming from the front left strut
. At first i thought it was my tyre rubbing on the coilover or guards or something. So i raised it heaps which didn't help. But i have noticed that the strut Tops are sticking up a fair bit, and not in the middle on the drivers side strut, and a lot less but still noticeable on the drivers side. I have replaced the strut top mounts, because the old ones were totally had it. Which i thought was meant to fix this problem? I even think that the tops are sticking up more than when i had the old strut top mounts in! I am thinking the noise would be because the strut top hat thing is knocking against the inner side of the body. I didn't torque the bolts to spec as i didn't have a torque wrench. Would that of made a difference? Or have I assembled the strut wrong? I am looking at having to pull the struts back out and trying again but just thought someone here might have a simpler solution!!! Other than that in a sraight line, they ride pretty nice
