Also just too the girl for a run through the hills, first hills run in 6 months. I think I may have smiled hard enough to change my facial bone structure lol. Pad knockback springs have made a tremendous difference to the pad knockback. It's still there but nowhere near as bad, It seems to be liveable and no doubt when I eventually refresh the hub bearings should go all together. Finally, the Hawk HP plus brake pads that are now on all four corners are brutal ... in a good way! They make that somewhat annoying track car squeal a bit around town but their performance more than makes up for it on a non-daily driven car.

Well this is completely unrelated to the Bora but I figured save creating a new thread. Picked up a new daily yesterday and promptly took it up a mountain range. Must say I will never get bored of VW narrow angle V6's

That said part of me is actually considering the option of selling the Bora. Whether that be a part out and sell car separate to turbo kit or sell vehicle as a whole I'm not sure. Main reason being circumstances dictate that I really don't have the time to enjoy the car and future and current location movements make keeping so many vehicles problematic. Not 100% decided yet but weighing up options!

So... any EOI on a turbo bora?

Yeh I'll probably do that this weekend. Again It's not a definite, just not sure what I want to do with it! I don't really want to sell it but at the same time sticking it in a shed for the next few years just seems like a waste and is also somewhat expensive. Hrmmm... I'll mull over it for a while I think!

I wouldn't be surprised if you'd find someone who'd be prepared to pay top dollar for a clean well-running Bora V6 Turbo, with all that hard work done. It's the holy grail of the Bora owner, right? I've seen several newbs sign up over the last few years with Boras, wanting to do a quality turbo mod - but they rarely persist.

You never know - if you put out some feelers, you might find a few people ready to pay serious money for it.

Having said that - I think you should keep it in SA.

Just an FYI to everyone past and present, the Bora is still alive and well!
She'll be getting some TLC over the next 6 months from interior upgrades, to exhaust/intercooler upgrades... Meth, e85 + tune and maybe a bigger turbo
