yes they are, slightly improved feel, and a bit of reassurance i suppose, worth the small amount of lay out id say...
Still getting used to the increased vibration and transmission whine from the VF mounts, car is nearly trackable though, next step is fitting the oil cooler and big ass radiator, loosing the helper radiator and getting my brake ducting in.. then i plan to run some sample times around barbegallo's before the turbo... and then show the diffrence with the mighty garret gt35!!!

I would stick with the .:R as well.
The S4's are common as flies now, i see at least 5 a day here.
I only see a Mk4 .:R once a wek if i am lucky or if they turn up to the weekly meetup.
