Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. It's either supposed to be 88 or 92 i think but the weight difference per tyre is about 70 kg...
      Ive run these since the beginning, three sets and they are rated to 270kmph+ and 560kg each corner.

      Anyone got their tyre placard handy for a MK4 .:R32? Now you got me curious.

      Cheers.

        HPA finally came through!

        Short Shifter and Fuel Rail

        Turns out the dudes sent me an unmodified rail by accident!
        But are rectifying it by sending me out a nice clean powder coated equivalent...

                    So.... predictably more parts have arrived, 034-Motorsports and Carformance hit me up today and yesterday respectively.

                    42DD Ultimate Catch Can with drain and mount, also a set of there machined shifter bushings, Carformance even threw in a free t-shirt and some stickers..
                    I also ordered the 10 piece LED interior light kit which are on back order, but received a set for the rear numberplate lights..

                    034 as per usual delivery via your very own Concorde or SR71 Blackbird, only ordered it friday.....

                    Main and rod bearings coated, ARP main studs, 5 Bar FPR, Bosch 044 with their in house wrap around FP34 surge tank, fittings, clamps, hose, EGR Block off plate, center chain gear and a low temp T-Stat

                    Look at the finish on their quality products!!!!

                    That one is still in its plastic but you get the idea.

                    034 you guys rock!

                    The rod bolts are on back order and some more stuff from them on the way

                    Also tomorrow taking the car to Kristian (MK5)'s father to see what he can do about a new paint job. Any Ideas on a colour?

                    Cheers, Watch This Space.

                          Yeah, Really tightens it up. Currently run with an ecs short shifter. Only problem is i don't have the side shift done at the moment as mine came with the older pin style and i ordered the wrong relay shifter so i have to order the 6 speed (We wont worry that ecs said it wont fit the 6 speed, it looked close enough )

                            • UPDATE

                              More stuff from Greg at Carformance;

                              3x2.1/16" brushed aluminium gauge bezel (Single DIN) will go below drop down drink holder and above my deck,
                              Three perfect match LED's,
                              Ballast for the LED's,
                              Stewart Warner Vacuum/Boost 30/25psi Manual
                              Stewart Warner Oil Presure 100PSI Electronic (The highest the had in electronic)
                              Stewart Warner Oil Temperature Electronic (Farenheit Only) ill have to just angle it so that 194F is sitting at 12 o'clock.

                              Anyone asking why i went electronic instead of manual senders for the oil gauges, It is because i don't ever want a catastrophic,
                              oil in your face or in your interior if something goes wrong, may not be as accurate but at least its clean and safe in a road car.

                              Stuff from Tim at Dub Addiction;

                              Stubby Antennae,
                              Lower front brace,
                              GrüvenParts VEE Chain (present for the girl),
                              Seat Cupra R Lower Front Lip,

                              Decided to **** off the low compression head gasket spacer and split gasket,
                              because i think its more trouble having to retention the chain over a filed down upper chain guide.

                              I shopped around and decided to go with an overbore JE piston and the pauter rods.
                              The same setup 034Motorsport use in their 670+ All Wheel KiloWatt longitudinal 3.2lt VR6 B5 Audi A4 Time Attack Car.
                              They have run this car hard day in day out for quite some time without any issues.

                              The JE Pistons were Pricey, But not as pricey as the Wössner, the cheapest were Mähle but part number for their pistons was the same for the 20v 1.8T 4 cylinder,
                              which seemed dodgy so I just bit the bullet and went for something i knew was tried and tested. and Cosworth wouldn't make me a set of custom pistons.

                              So after everyone suggesting to me to go ahead to and the head work to i decided to do the lot. Port match and polish when it is out, valve spring retainers etc.
                              Some special other magic to go into the head too, nothing suss but magical none. the less
                              As for Cams I decided to go for the cheaper TechTonics Cams in 264/260 rather than the Schricks, This is simply because I don't think there is much of a difference in quality and they are far cheaper.
                              Also I had just laid out large Dollereedoos on the Pistons, the JE's are 9:1 compression 85mm makes my engine an 3.26l.
                              Can i get a badge that says .:R3.26T made in the original font? or should i just lie and make an .:R33T Badge? Maybe lie even more and use a 1.9TDI badge

                              Anyway For sale, all new parts;

                              4"MAF housing from C2motorsports,
                              C2 9:1 low comp ratio spacer and split crush gaskets,

                              I put in my Unibrace on thursday and need to take it out realign it, i didn't have a second set of hands at the time you see.
                              I hope I haven't made a poo of it it and have to weld it in, although, that wouldn't be the worst thing to have to do.

                              Cheers, Pedro

                                ZF Sachs Finally came through with their HRE Performance Clutch plate, Pressure plate and Single Mass Lightweight aggressive Flywheel Street Kit.
                                Arrived in two parts Wednesday and Friday which, actually worked for me in the end cause shipped complete, I would have had to pay import duty.
                                Anyway aside from their slow shipping, it was very well priced and looks to me really well machined and the clutch looks Bad Ass, more pics to come

                                My amp is in the pic below the stuff too.

                                Cheers, Pedro
