More power for the streets they say eh? don't see how the clutch/flywheel will give the streets more power but you never know with these germans!
Update!
Wasn't Paying attention the other day and curbed one of my rims, not to bad, however definitely noticeable and definitely fixable.
This was the colour of the wheel and i didn't actually take a picture of the rash, but hey it doesn't matter cause its gone now anyway.
The rashed rim, primed then filled. *IMPORTANT Yes always prime before using filler, as filler is hygroscopic an the any moisture below will bubble the paint.
Might run those rusty 8"s (in the background) on the rear, opinions?
The semi finished product pre wet sanding and clear, for some reason i just couldn't find the right paint that i used last time, but **** i don't think it'll look bad with two different coloured rims.
Kinda reminds me of the old Liberty STI wheel colour!
Oh yeah, i painted the other front just so i would at least have a matching pair. LOL
Still waiting on an order from a few places but the largest is from you guessed it... 034EFI
Valves
Springs
Retainers
Guides
Cams
Pistons
Rods
and a bunch of stuff i forgot.
I'm having the head ported/matched/polished, Has anyone got a torque plate for an over bore for an .:R32 I can borrow/buy,
rather than making one up? (I know there are a few people out there running over bored .:R32 engines!)
Also ECSTuning have just sent out an order of refresher type stuff, sensors and that kinda ****.
Greg @ Carformance delivered a bunch of things, a 42dd aluminium gauge plate and perfect match LED's for Stewart Warner gauges.
Summit are sending me some gauges to fit said plate.
Tim @ Dub Addiction sent me some cool trinkets too.
when I raise the car and refresh the suspension I'm gonna run a Seat Cupra Front Bar,
also bought his little chrome lower brace and other things the I've forgotten already.
Anyway, thats my update at the moment, still trying to figure out insurance for paint.
Cheers Pedro
Rant/ can you believe that H&R will not supply the bushing necessary for their swaybars? you have to go through some other random company.... WTF..../Rant'76 Mk1 LS

So.....
Still waiting on parts but in the meanwhile,
Last week Joe and Philip @ Golfwagen performed
A complete bushing overhaul
New tie rods, ball joints, end links
Gearbox strip down and clean
Fitted the mishimoto oversized radiator modified the air con condenser to fit
New clutch, flywheel, pressure plate throw out bearing
Front and rear tail shaft bushings and couplings
New stretch bolts everywhere
Differential
Front springs (higher spring rate)
Complete service of all fluids (Royal Purple in the transaxle I think MTL in the rear LSD)
New coolant overflow tank
New control arm helm joints
Basically a complete refresh
Wheels World gave me a pitch perfect alignment and i went down south for a rally trip.
Sachs HRE or Clutch kit is Bad........Ass.....
Heaps of clamp force, single mass lightweight flywheel, a bit of chatter at idle but barely, and definitely driveable.
I think i would never buy another clutch, the only issue i have with it is i cant stand at the lights with my foot on the clutch too long cause my leg gets sore, its one heavy pedal. Feels similar to oem but 200% as good and 50% of the cost......
Today these rocked up. Yew, Go JCaps.
Now i need a new washer fluid bottle to match the clean overflow tank. BLING BLING
Oh and whoring the new colour, bad pics but whatever.
whoring!

So the new Pelloquin LSD in the front is definitely working correctly, running in FWD mode obviously.
Before,
After,
New carbon mirror housing covers,
And the VR6 Sticker that i rock, anyone who wants one let me know and ill get some more made up.
It used to have a speech bubble saying RAWR, but i removed that bit, the speech bubble could say anything you like though.
More carbon to come.
Cheers, Pedro'76 Mk1 LS
