  • WA Mk4 .:R32 Project

    Hey guys,

Thought I should post about the other project in the works. The car was purchased stock last year, and it looked like this.

Car is #89 of 200 and obviously is Black Magic Pearl. I am the second owner and was purchased at 60k kms, now sits at about 80k.

I have been building it up ever since, starting with a YarrowSport strut brace.

The next step was installing the suspension; KW V3s, KW adjustable motorsports top mounts, Gruvenparts adjustable rear control arms and the H&R adjustable front and rear swaybars.

Then came the Haldex Blue HPP.

Wheel bearings and braided brake lines.

Recoated the Aristos in a satin Gunmetal/Grey and wrapped them with Toyo R1R street rubber.

Got a bunch of things sitting here going in over the next few weeks.

Pelloquin - Front and Rear Differentials
VF - Urethane performance engine mount kit
    Beru - Coilpacks
Zimmermann - Front and rear discs
Hawk - HPS+ Pads to match
    Gruven - Adjustable swaybar endlinks
OEM - New Greentop coolant sensor

The car after the stance change with coilovers and wheels coated.

Future plans... FI! Coming soon is a full 350kW capable turbo'd R motor.
    Watch this space!

    Cheers, Pedro

        very nice!
Interesting that your upgrading diffs, not many people do them...

What are your plans for the ECU side of the F/I conversion?

Preemptive strengthening and obviously increasing drivability, lessening understeer, better power distribution, solidification etc!

Gonna try my luck with a re-flash initially! Failing that, I guess standalone is the only option.

As for the bee-sting, I kinda like the thing looking like an RC Car

              Cheers, Pedro

Looks good mate-BMP has always been my Fav color but somehow I ended up with DBP, But thats going to change later in the year. How do you like the Gp's rear control arms? Did you also get the adjustable rear links for the sway bar also? I was thinking of picking a set up. Keep up the good work.
                            Cheers J
