You have me on the edge of my chair Simon. Amazing build mate. Looks and sounds the business I have to commend you on a job well done. Any more plans? or are you satisfied with it's power/handling/aesthetics etc?
Any updates? I'd love to see more photos if possible
It would be an absolute pleasure to get the chance to see this beast in the flesh one day.
Haha it isn't running yet! Thanks for the kind words
Not much in the way of updates, I'm broke. Boost piping soon.
Did manage to get the R32 seats in though.
Started as a stock 4mo and going to end as something wild!
Love the work you've done to the car. Something I'd be too scared and tightarse to do
What sort of power figures are you hoping for?
On a side note with the wheels at 8" front & 9" rear - do they tuck under or sit flush under the guards? Also, what's your offset?
I have 8.5" & 9.5" wheels and I just got defected for them protruding too far out

300kw? Holy moses. You should be able to get a healthy 220-230kws of that at the 4 wheels which is fantastic. A Nice 130kw pwr at the wheels! That's the kind of figures the GC8 STi Pretza's made.
I'm surprised that these wheels are 8.5's & 9.5's. It must be the offset that helps you sit flush with the guards. I need to find rims with the same offset.
Have rolled your guards? You'll probably need to stiffen up the springs to ensure less rear travel. Shotgun not being a rear passenger though

Think he'll be aiming for 300kw atw. 220kw is nothing and would be a disappointment.
GC8's came with 190-206 depending on version which is roughly 150-160kw atw.

Is that enough power to do a skid? I want to build a bora that can do a skid. Doesn't have to be fully sick smoke em up ulleh 11sies, a little screech from one of the front wheels would suffice... just enough to impress all the boys and beat my mates pushbike. How many turbos would I need?

More exciting updates.
Chris from Castle Hill Exhaust has been working his magic on the intercooler, boost and intake piping. 2.5" Aluminium piping, bigger MAF housing, hidden diverter valve on passenger side. Crazy how quickly he knocked this up, too!
Piping will be coated black to tie in with the rest of the engine bay
