I'll be keen to hear how you go with it! I'm beginning to consider looking into different tuning options as although I've been pretty happy with my C2 tune i've got this annoying clutch in stall problem. Never used to bother me but having not driven the car for 6 months it annoys me now! Sometimes I find C2 a bit hard to contact so i'm considering either swapping to a different tuner or trying to find someone local.

How often does it stall?Originally posted by W hO View PostI'll be keen to hear how you go with it! It only stalls if you clutch in after having your foot moderately or more down. This could be after boosting for example or even just say pottering along at 60 in 4th or 5th, put your foot in for a couple seconds then back off, clutch in and it'll stall. If you drive around sedately or don't put your foot in it doesn't stall.

Not really as I've owned plenty of turbo cars that used a MAF and never had issues. I'd like to have a look at my AFR's when it happens as I'm wondering if it's over-fuelling. I thought it might be a vac leak but I had a decent look and couldn't find anything that looked like it would've be a big vac leak + if there was a nasty vac leak it'd have a pretty terrible which it doesn't.
End of the day I'm pretty sure its a bug in the tune. I might plug in vag-com and see if i can play with idle speeds etc to work around it. Not sure how to do that though as I've never done anything other than read codes with it!Last edited by WhO; 01-02-2014, 03:55 PM.

Managed to get my new Oil cooler all mounted up over the weekend. Was difficult to find a position where it would receive sufficient airflow, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. A quick lick of paint and you wouldn't even know it was there!

Also a quick picture of the Intergrated Engineering surge tank and 044 fuel pump that I will be using.

Actually had a busy weekend on the car. Ended up mounting the IE tank behind the rear drivers wheel. Had to cut a fair bit of metal out (which actually sent me to the emergency ward today, to get it out of my eye!) Running 4 new fuel lines sucked too! Fuel tank feed to surge tank, 044 pump feed to fuel rail, fuel rail return to surge tank, surge tank overflow to fuel tank.
Gearbox had to come back out as there was an issue with the bottom timing cog. Managed to get the gearbox out, time the engine, and put the gearbox in within a couple of hours. Bolted the exhaust manifold and turbo on properly and started putting other small parts on the engine. Seb and I didn't get to bed until 4am, so thanks to him for staying up to help!
IE tank mounted with nutserts (prior body clearancing)

Post clearancing an fuel lines.

Sump drilled and tapped. Sump refitted. Oil return line fitted up. Downpipe bolted up and wastegate bolted up. o2 sensors fitted. Driveshafts bolted up. Steering rack bolted to subframe. Subframe bolted up. Dogbone mount fitted. Various wires wrapped in conduit. Injectors fitted to fuel rail. New connectors soldered onto injector harness. Fuel rail and injectors fitted. Intake manifold fitted (may still need to have a play with this)
