Another update

Hi all,

The vast majority of the order (44 out of 52 line items) have shipped from ECS.

A second order is being placed for the items which were on backorder but wouldn't have arrived in time for the first shipment (we didn't want to hold up the majority of items for a few that were running late).

I am hoping the shipment should arrive within the country by the start of next week, where it will undergo customs clearance (at which point duty and GST will be paid) prior to being released. From that point, the shipment will be picked up, broken up into the individual orders, and we'll start distribution.

I will send an email update to each participant regarding the status of their order (eight out of twelve are complete within this first shipment), and what will happen moving forward from this point.

Those of you in Sydney who are picking up from me will be sent my details once all the items have arrived and the shipment has been split into the component orders. I will contact those of you who are interstate at that point to arrange how we're going to get your stuff to you.

Good news all - the shipment has arrived, cleared customs and is in our possession. Sharkie is picking up the Brisbane bits tomorrow, we'll get bits off to Adelaide and Melbourne this week, and I'll start arranging a GTG in Sydney for the Sydney buyers.

Brisbane parts are now in Brisbane. Those of you up there who purchased should have received a message regarding pickup. Working on getting Adelaide and Melbourne/Vic parts off as soon as possible!

Just leaves Sydney - I'm busy this weekend, will PM Sydney buyers about a potential catchup next week/weekend. And then we're largely done!

so anyone gotten a place to install them yet? or havn't the sydney ppl met up yet
when i buy my coilovers and refresh kit, im thinkin of Arcus Auto Services in artarmon (syd) that goodfella mentioned.

how much roughly do you think a place like that would charge to install both?

I am guessing $500ish.. I know coilovers are generally a bit more work to "set and tune" to right height, other than that, the install should be straight forward. Not to mention an alignment too.

yeah i think i pm'd you this question before
i've budgeted 600 to be safe.

basically i did a budget/saving plan, and i've decided to order my coilovers on the 20th of May...
(i'll order the refresh kit and window reg repair kit a bit before that in a separate order to avoid the gst and duty)

so anyone interested in getting coilovers at this same time (i.e. placing order on 20th of May), let us know and we'll see if manaz can help us out with a nice combined shipping cost!

So any idea when round 2 will start? ECS have the kvw100 units in again, so I'm sure there will be a lot of interest in these, I know I want one! I'm also looking at the stage 2 refresh kit

I'm looking at getting some CV boots and engine mounts at the same time, we should be able to add other items to the order as well if people are interested in taking advantage of the potential discount in another GB.
