What have you done to your mk4 (golf/bora) today?

Honestly not a huge fan of the front flared guards from front view. Wheels need to fill it out perhaps or I'd like them if they tapered in at the bottom.

The rear looks fine from what I can see

On the other hand the hood looks sick!!! Boser? Or the add on bit? So tough.

Honestly, that's what I think as well. Bonnet looks tough!

Haha my thoughts exactly, He's going to redo the bumper as he doesnt like the fit so i might ask if he can taper it back into the bumper a bit more as im really not so keen on the really wide look of it.

The problem is that if you put our cars next to each other mine will look like it has just seen a mouse. If things will stop breaking on it I might have some money for coilovers (and adjustable control arms, which seem to be a necessity for a 4motion)

so is the car running better now ? the gearbox was OK ?

Everything is fine. I didn't drive it all after you saw it, took it to CVWC a couple of days ago and they found a leak coming from the crank angle sensor (I think), they fixed that, did a minor service and it has been running great, has not dropped any fluid at all.

so my super annoying brake/clutch fluid leak is getting worse ... im 99%shore its the clutch slave cylinder as every other outlet is spotless .. only pain in the ass is that its in between the engine/gearbox

engine timing is still isnt right and shoots fault codes at 5500rpm :\

raised the front suspention by a cm to lessen the constant squeel now got a f*cked up commodore stance and yeah

how hard is it to bolt in a touareg 3.2l vr6 or a passat 3.6? would it bolt up any way i could run factory wiring/ecu ?

Well time has come holidays are here it's time to start to add some changes to the car. Here's s list

First thing is waiting on coil overs to arrive!

Then going to fit R32 front discs and calipers changing color from blue to black painting all calipers

Waiting for spacers to arrive to fit 18" rims then adjust height of car and w/alignment

Also have purchased genuine monsoon amp and carrier in the process of making wiring harness amp carrier fits nicely under parcel shelf. Also adding new speakers all round but going to keep in original positions just need better sound.

Still contemplating side skirts as the car needs to go to panel shop to fix the damage some moron caused in a car park so might do them at same time.

I'll be stripping the car down in the next few days and taking before and after shots a lot of work but hopefully worth the effort. Hope to have all ready before the 22nd as I'm keen to take for VW watercooled cruise.

Got the 4 mo a late xmas present,ordered the chrome rings that go in the instrument panels.
Need coilovers that will be next month so i can roll bankstown style.slammed hahaha.

Also got my sister some eiback springs from a fellow watercooled so this xmas break her bora 2L will be closer to the ground.

your sisters car isnt the dope brown one I saw driving away at Nats? brown is wicked on boras. would be my next choice if not black

I think its OEM nav, pretty rare and was never an option in aus.

on another note i saw a completely standard grey jetta GLI the other day and it looked AWESOME i love the RC's and would love to get a set someday

on another note, saw a mk1 or 2 cabriolet in downtown Palo Alto where i'm staying in california. I think the number plate is french for 'comeback'. classic

Yeah thats the one. Used to be blue I resprayed it about 3 years ago after someone bumped her guard. Its on 20s just sits like a bus now.
But not for long
