I got the manifold, turbo, inlet pipe and 3 inch maf housing. I'll most likely just be running it on my stage 1 apr tune for a while until I can suss out what size injectors to buy. Gonna be running it on custom code once everything is sortedOriginally posted by Njay View Postwhat else did u order Lito, what software are you planning to use

Well, the bloody timing chain skipped a tooth again on the weekend...
Another 2 hours spent with my head under the bonnet...
On the plus side, I now know what the real issue is...
At first I thought it was the timing chain tensioner as it has a sticky spot at about 2/3 extension.
Whilst that's not great, oil pressure is more than enough to overcome it.
The real issue is that the Upper Timing Chain Guide is cracked.
Whilst I probably should replace the whole set (Upper & Lower Guides, Tensioners and Chains), as this motor has already done 300,000k's, I'm just going to replace the cracked guide and then consider my options for rebuilding it in the next 6months or so.

Stripped the paint off them, sanded them back and polished them with Mothers Billet Metal Polish and PowerBall.

Sort of but not, they had been repainted in silver before but the paint was peeling around the edge of the rim.Originally posted by dylan8 View Postdamn, they look good. were they machined polished before?
So I had to use paint stripper to get rid of the silver paint plus the original clear finish.
Underneath was the original polished finish, but when you strip the finish off you end up getting scratches.
So you have to sand them (not fun) and repolish them again
