coated my fk streetlines with some anti-seize spray...now just have to put the coilovers actually on.

well here are some pics. note i colour coded the valances over the last couple of weks also.. quite happy with how they turned out.







very happy with how it looks. some scratches i cant get rid of but all in all, not bad for a 10yr old car. still need to give it a wax after the next wash/polish -- all i need now is some fatter rims to set it all off.

Running with Mk4 R32 suspension at present, waiting for the PSS9s to be shipped overseas for repairs and then back here for re-fitting.

I should clarify that I was upset because it was midnight, I'd already worked from 4pm, and just wanted to get home (which finally happened at 2am). Wasn't upset with anyone in particular - just the fact that the bloody thing let go...

Car is now back on the road with a Porsche bolt replacing the VW part.

It's longer, so has more grip in the hub (more threads in contact).

Also has some threadloc on it to be sure.

Got my V-check today and diagnosed the traction control light that stays on.

checked the 2.5" exhaust system under my car, and 2 of the 3 joins where it is held together by clamps, seem to be leaking exhaust gas, is this normal to some extent? i tried tightening them up but seemed pretty much as tight as they go.

Cupra Lip round 2 = installed.

Hopefully it should last longer this time around.

got my Vchecker today, going to try and tinker with the stereo tonight if I can work out how to get it out so I can check out the OBD port.

started trying to repair my headlight lenses... hopefully it goes ok as i managed to knock over the sealant bottle and lose half of it, so not going to have much to spare.
