You dont have chrome??? I have only seen one other bora in AUS without chrome, all the rest have it..
Not too sure I've seen the all chrome strips in AUS... I've seen a couple with the 3mm or so chrome stripe in the stripping, but for the look I want, the ones I have are nice...
Mine are smooth and body coloured... Looks really nice...

Please don't get me thinking about changing all the trimming, I need to save money.
Update on my car:
I put some KWs in my Bora 4mo. Did the rears myself until I screwed up the internal thread of the part where the bottom of the shock attaches to the hub assembly. I had to get a dude come round to try and rethread it for me as my car was stuck up on stands. Turns out he just forced the bolt in a bit more and it fixed it (I was too cautious trying not to ruin it further). Last time I ruined the bolt when installing suspension in my old Audi A4 B5- both times I stopped concentrating and just kept tightening at the wrong angle lol. Due to me not wanting to screw up again I just paid to get the fronts put it in.
So now the coilovers are wound up as high as possible as I'll need guard work when I put my wheels on. I also got some Kumho KU31s fitted for my wheels, but only the front wheels are on as I was accidentally sent the wrong spacer for the rears. Looks like a bogan's Commodore with rims on the front and stockies on the rear.
So I was waiting for my spacers to come in so I could get my wheels on and then get the guard work done.. until I got a call from Consumer Affairs who's investigating my case against the car dealer who tried to screw me over and not fix my diff. So now the guard work and ride height will have to wait until Consumer Affairs destroys ****** ***** ***** for me.
After spending all this money and buying Eminem tickets I'm broke =[ Turns out my missus doesn't even like Eminem lol.
Maybe we need a new thread called "What did some thoughtless Neanderthal b@stard do to your MKIV Golf/Bora today?"
Seriously people who do that to your car then take off are lowlifes.
I once saw it happen to someone else's car and there were at least 10 other people watching, the guy just drove off. As he left one of the bystanders spat at him and wrote down his number plate then left it on the car that got hit. The hit and run guy saw it and went round the block so he could wait until nobody was looking and take the note, but the guy who wrote the note was waiting for him, he was a pretty big guy and he explained in careful colourful language that the driver should either park his car and wait for the owner of the car he hit or get lost in hurry before he finds his head under the windscreen wiper with the note.
Good story, Yeah its a shame that only a percentage of people out there are honest. Felt like s%$ but u got to cop it on the chin and
soldier on!!! I washed it today but now that's there it look's rubbish next stop panel beaters!!!
Got more low
CAI is back on with Injen Hydro Filter
Rear muffler back on
Oil changed
Temp sensor changed
Sway bar gone, strut bar on
Quick clean Took some photos!
edit: Just raised the front a bit, it's so hard to judge the lowering size because the springs take so long to settle.
So quiet and so nice... Now it just needs to rain WHILST I'm driving...
