Got Rolf back from the repairer today - rear bumper resprayed and new number plate courtesy of the insurance company. (Spare number plate too as they only come in pairs!)
Dropped off the bora to repair the rear bumper. Turns out the bumper support is bent and so new rear bumper going to get put on. Thankyou Navara driver

Its a badgless grill....... one day I might get arround to filling in the bonnet notch and changing the grill . Dose anyone know if a A3 front end would fit (bonnet ,1/4 pannels,bumper and headlights) like Jays bora front end swap ?

Personalized plates came today.
Painted both front and back vw emblems black. Looks good.
R32 bumper is at the plastic welder being filled. Next week bumper will hopefully be painted. Then the following week my anni kit will arrive. (will have an anni replica front lip in abs plastic for sale when it come if anyone's interested)

Bought a poor mans vag-com. ODBII bluetooth dongle and the android phone app called torque. With all the pids listed in the bentley I will hopefully be able to run most diagnostics. Will take about 2 weeks to get here though.

I'll be interested to see how this goes, i like the idea of being able to use a OBDII bluetooth dongle and either a phone or a PDA as a nice compact alternative to a PC.
