  • not technically my Bora, but fitted to my mate's Bora (with gorgeous 17" Sports that i am jealous of):-
Dieselgeek Six Sigma Short Shift kit - adjustment took forever
R-line shift boot - destroying stupid oem collar took ages, tough bugger he was
TT pedals - accel pedal is so big it fits over stock pedal and still needs glue
    changed air con filter
swapped in some VR6 valve caps

And if that doesn't seem like a full day's work, we basically re-fitted out gokarts with new seats - and trust me, when fitting seats to karts it takes ages to mark them up just right. Fun day though.

I saw this in Trents photos when he removed his, too. Seems pretty common, i reckon i'll strip mine off and clean it all out. Probably drop 5kgs from the car.

Do you ever think someone might have it in for you? Either that, or do you spend your days driving round building sites?

                    • Picked up some sweet OEM beige mats F&R for the Bora off a member who sold his ride ages ago. Woot

Mine are woeful and have the dodgy SCA thick rubber mats atm.

                        • Man your not having much luck with them sorting it all out huh !.

Guessing they just fix and get it out there to the customer who I'm guessing they normally think knows nothing and will just be happy to have the car back.
I know it has happened to me before. Had to take one back to have the runs in the paint sorted, the items they had used self tapping screws on instead of proper clips replaced. I guess it's just how much cash they can get from the insurance company / customer is all they are worried about. Which in some places leads to a lack of touch and finish. Can be hard to find a good panel / paint place.

Hope you get your car fixed properly this time mate.

Absolutely. Factual posts detailing what happened and without going into opinions of people/services are fine. Start to make judgements about the capabilities, etc, and posts will quickly be deleted.
