        • Took delivery of my new rotors and pads from ECS, now just have to wait until the 2nd before my local mechanic can fit them.

          • Don't want to tackle the job by yourself? Brakes aren't too hard if you've got the correct tool to depress the pistons?

            • Replaced my old worn gear gator/boot today with one I bought from the UK. Bit of a tricky procedure with that clip holding the gear knob in place, then prising the surround off to remove the old one, but eventually sorted it out. Interior plastic surrounds are next on the list.

              Also fit new rear shocks/springs - fronts are ready to go when I've got a whole day spare.

                    I did think about it, I would tackle other jobs on my car but I prefer to leave anything safety related to an expert!! Plus I don't have the tools to do this, not just the piston compressor but also axle stands.

                            • New sparks, oil filter and brake fluid. Getting parts sourced for the timing service :/

                              Also installed osram nightbreakers plus, nice improvement same light as the MK6 TDI.
