I've chickened out from the Bolf idea.
Had I not already bought my panels, I probably would have done it.

Gonna be painting my rieger kit at the same time I do the stock panels and bar.

Could always do the Bolf thing later but at this point I'm just too keen to drive her.

yeah I did 83_SUS - plugged in, waited 60 seconds, 3 beeps - all working

KVW100 is a one off refresh to power window control module to add the auto up/down feature. Your Mk4 GTI is already KVW100'ed

I believe there were slightly different versions for different model years? Check the link just posted.
It could just be they operate slightly differently on different years depending on the computer.

Really, I hadn't noticed. The previous owner is a champion!
So far I've put the windows up before locking the car.

Is it set to wind the windows up only when I lock the car with the remote, or is it supposed to work when I switch the car off?

Will have to check it when I get the car back in a few days time.

when you lock with the remote.

if you click and hold unlock, they should go down as well
(although mine's a bit intermittent on that, have to press a few times sometimes for it to work)

Had GIAC flash done on wednesday arvo. Very nice change to the car, slightly meatier down low and really siging at the top. (Raised rev limit also a nice feature). Will be good to see how it goes on a twisty piece of tarmac. Pitty about double demerits.

true that, i got pulled over the first night that i flashed my car. wasn't driving all that quick, just trying to avoid the car that was tailing me.
gave me a fright and a half when it turned on flashing lights, was an undercover coppa. didn't care that i had no license on me either, and didn't actually say why he pulled me over...
