Gave my car a wash today. goodfella can attest to how dirty it was when you looked up close.

Clayed the windscreen and sunroof, man, the crud that came off the glass...

what's wrong with washing in hot sun, is it just that the water dries quickly?
i washed two cars (at the same time!) on sat in the middle of the day and it was even hotter, and i had to keep spraying the cars with the hose to keep the panels wet before i got a chance to finsh with the shami. was a juggle and a half!

The water acts like a magnifying glass which isn't so good for the paint. Also leaves marks too. Just better to do it in the shade.

Yeah, big double carport, we didn't start washing until latish afternoon, and the car was under shade all day.

Finally arrived from ECS; new dog-bone mount, stubby antenna and new (slightly whiter) headlight bulbs.. time to put them in!

I got the eibachs from a random guy off ebay, they're actually the set for the 1.8n/a but it seems they are better suited to the 1.8T because of the front axle weights ( it's only 30kgs difference anyway). I got the bilsteins and the stage 2 refresh kit from ECS tuning in the recent group buy organised by manaz ( Thanks you again!!) ECS don't stock eibachs but I think eshocks.com do and they have decent shipping rates to australia

Yeah mate, they're awsome. Squat and dive are virtually non-existent, just gotta find some time to take it up some twisties so I can really see what they can do, I think I'm gonna get me some sway bars and a boost gauge in the next group buy
