Just finished installing the fronts and drivers side rear KW V1 coilovers. Alot of funny little things that popped up but all nutted out eventually. Drivers side front took 2 1/2 hrs and passenger side took all of 45 mins. Took for a drive with just the fronts in and what a difference. So awesome and well worth the cash. Also installed one adjustable lower control arm (haven't got to the other side yet).
With all the wet weather around and not much to do in sydney decided to hand polish the .:R and five hours later i finally finished and i must say there is nothin better looking than a freshly polished MkIV
It was again raining in Brissy today so I serviced the Golf.
Oil, filter, even a new set of spark plugs (what a job that was....I don't think the previous owners ever replaced plugs 2 and 3..they are just so hard to get to)
Oh and I fitted the new leather gear lever boot the golf got for Christmas...once I worked out how to get the gear knob off it was a piece of cake
Washed the Golf today and thought id snap some pics while it was clean although I didn't check the camera batteries befor i went out so was still fiddling with setting when the battery died but you get the idea
