Fitted light switch from new Polo to R32.

Put on Polo aero wiper. Looks much smoother.

Also put on some new mirror caps..(was a one of those 5 minute jobs that took 3 hours) ..not 100% sure whether I like them. But hey a change is as good as a holiday.

Finally got my Cupra lip on last Friday, just in time for DOVW today



Wash & detail yesterday and quick once-over this morning.
Took out the Watercooled Performance category too, hooray!!

i didnt even wash my car this weekend, christ! although installed another one of those keyless entry things, quite handy i must say!

SO how long do you think it will take to chew through those 12 points? hehehe! Took me about 10 years but I finally did it 1 month to go before I get them all back again

got down to 1 pt left, moved to NSW and changed license over.. kind RTA Betty issued me a full 12 pt Gold License..took me 10 yrs to lose next points....

what's up with the bora drivers

I have been battling with the golf over the last few months to get it running 100%....... Lots of old hoses that seem to develop holes as soon as i upped the boost and with just about all boost hoses replaced the car was great under boost but would miss randomly @ cruise.
So today while having a poke around i stumbled across a possible reason for the condition the larger injectors seem to be sitting too far into the injector seat in the manifold causing a poor seal @ vacume but under boost the o-ring would move back creating a seal ..... This is my theory anyway
Hear is a pick of what im talking about......on the left is the factory injector in the seat and on the right is the larger capacity injector with the oring clearly poking out.
So fingers crossed il sort this out and all done.

I was driven to and from site by a colleague in an awesome new Nissan X-Trail hire car which seems to have floors made of cardboard under the carpets. No idea why but the flex, feel and sound of them is very dodgy...
