From what I read the Audi A4 b5 steering wheel does fit on the steering column but I'm not assured on the airbag functionality and the wiring. Usually I'd sus this out using a wiring diagram but I can't find one.

    Anyone know anything?
I know a the B5 RS4 steering wheel is compatible on an 8L S3, and air bag works So I would assume an A4 steering wheel will work on the Mk4 platform as well.

I had a similar year Audi TT wheel and it appears as though it would fit the steering column but it doesn't fit a volkswagen airbag, so keep the Audi one!

        • It's funny, everyone who has a arm rest gets rid of it, those who don't have one add it

          • What's the reason people get rid of the armrest?

Out of the cars I've owned (and everything I've driven come to think of it) - I've found the Bora to be the most comfortable ergonomically.

            • They either break or people find them to be in the way when driving the racecars.
I put mine in orginally to hide my controller but found that wasn't going to work out but find it great matched with the recaros

My latch was broken and after trying to fix it a couple times I just found it was almost always up and just in the way rather than me using it for storage or an armrest. It took 5 minutes to take out so why not.

If anyone in Brisbane wants it feel free to come pick it up!

                          • Thanks mate I was a little hesitant at first but I covered the alternator and coilpacks and had a crack at it. I'm glad I did as it wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be.
