Eventually thats the plan or get some Bora R bumpers..... Turbos sucking all the money first though.

Always something more to do though ... I've just ordered upgraded brakes from USRT. Are you shaving your bumpers?sigpic

Red ties in well with the door trim fabric ... The original Recaros are a comfy seat so you can't go wrong.Originally posted by aaron001au View PostRolfGolf here are some pic's installed !
Yes, sometimes the change can be a little shocking - I stuck with black for my door trims for that reason.Originally posted by Brisbane's Bora View PostJust did all of the pillars and the sunroof motor cover in a maroon fabric, honestly still on the fence about it. Only took a couple of hours
P.S. Have heated black leather sports seats for sale if you're after some (though transport might be a killer).
Love the Bora R look - really toughens up the front end.Originally posted by Back Door Shenanigans. View PostEventually thats the plan or get some Bora R bumpers..... Turbos sucking all the money first though.

You might want to check dealer pricing and availability in Australia - R-line bumpers for Mk4 Golf were only discontinued in 2012 according to Solitaire in Adelaide - not sure if Bora R-line would have been discontinued at the same time. Other Mk4 R32 parts weren't as expensive as I expected.Originally posted by Back Door Shenanigans. View PostYeah just wish it wasn't like 2grand to get them over here then painting on top

It's long shot but I'm sure the Bora R was still built in China after it was discontinued everywhere else. Could possibly locate parts there? Just an idea!!!Originally posted by RolfGolf View PostYou might want to check dealer pricing and availability in Australia - R-line bumpers for Mk4 Golf were only discontinued in 2012 according to Solitaire in Adelaide - not sure if Bora R-line would have been discontinued at the same time. Priced up the upper timing chain parts at a local VW place. $480 and 4 weeks to get here. Glad i only ended up paying $125 or so shipped for them. And chucked in an R8 oil cap for $30ishsigpic

For all you very knowledgable VeeDub MKIV owners - has anyone seen someone in Aus fit an Audi A4 B5 steering wheel to their MK4?
From what I read the Audi A4 b5 steering wheel does fit on the steering column but I'm not assured on the airbag functionality and the wiring. Usually I'd sus this out using a wiring diagram but I can't find one.
Anyone know anything?Originally posted by MightyCarModsI'd rather lose by a mile because I built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me. Your car is your story, so don't let someone else write the book.

Yeah, the first time I cleaned them out it was crazy ... I'm keeping an eye on them now as it's a prime area for rust.Originally posted by dubster99 View PostThats nothing lachlan when i took off the liners from the wreck it was three times as much! Cant believe they build up so much! :/
How's the wiring for the conversion going?
