So I went to drive my car tonight and my instrument cluster backlight wouldn't turn on, I had a quick search on the web and people were suggesting it could be a blown fuse but from a very quick look (in the dark) none of them appeared to have blown. Also my right tail light won't turn on with my lights. Any one have any suggestions that I can try?

Only one taillight not turning on would probably be a blown light, that's easy to fix obviously. Instrument cluster would have to be the fuse or something a bit worse.

Thanks for the responses guys, I'll have to have a better look tomorrow
So I checked the bulbs and two of them were blown, fixed my brake light issue but my cluster back light still won't work. Any suggestions for what it could be?
Check fuse again? otherwise id be pulling it out to see if there is a lose connection or something?
does the rest of the cluster seem to be working? does the screen showing outside temp, trip meter etc work still?

Checked the fuses again today and they're all fine and the rest of the cluster works it's just the backlight. Will have a bit more of a dig around tomorrow afternoon after work
Had a better look this afternoon as I didn't really have time yesterday between uni and work but I had another play around today and I'm guessing that the switch had unplugged a little bit from the harness. Unplugged the switch and plugged it back in and they were working again, just didn't look hard enough yesterday :S
Also im having a bit of running issue. On cold starts the car will misfire and run like crap, totally random on how long it lasts until it fixes itself. Tried to test the maf by unplugging it while the engine is running but the engine just stalls out and won't turn over with the maf unplugged. Anyone have any ideas As to what could be wrong?
