Cleaned my MAF sensor and installed a Neuspeed lower intercooler pipe. Had to chop like 20mm off the bottom of the pipe but it was all good in the end. Still having boost issues but the car seems to be running a lot better now.

      • Is that what sebastian was selling? Was unsure how effective it would be.

        • Yeah that's the one man. Picked it up yesterday. I reckon I can definitely feel a difference. Nothing major, but it's noticeable.

it's a pain to install. I don't know why, but when you install it In the same spot as the original pipe (on that pin at the top left) it sits against the driveshaft and pushes the intercooler forward like 20mm.... So I had to chop the bottom

                  • Sorry not a fan of those tails. Looks like a MK5 or a Polo. GTI is supposed to have boxy tail lights, MK5 got it wrong fixed again with mk6.

                      • Gonna have to agree on the lights, not a fan tbh. But of you like them that's all that matters.

I made a new hot air intake on the weekend, much tidier in the bay now

                        • looks nice and clean in the matte finish!
wonder how the cooler pipes would look in a more brushed finish instead of the shiney polished finish

                              • Gave the golf a good clean and wax with my new dodo juice products...and wow it is truly worth spending the extra bit for them. I had some fairly big scratches from a plastic sheet hitting my car at work and the lime prime got them all out
