What have you done to your mk4 (golf/bora) today?

can fit with some trimming of clips and the bend is slightly different, but can be done

Managed to JUST fit a vento bonnet in the boot for the bora. Love my big fat girl, so much room for activities.

went about fixing the broken plastic on the over head interior light.
Turns out this was more complicated then I first thought.

so to take the remaining cover off the sliding switch (for door, none, or all on) had to come out,
doing this meant the spring at the re holding it tight came off (unknown to me)
new cover on, reinstall sliding switch. no good, couldnt get it to work or sit nicely.
so whole unit out, dropping the spring.
managed to get it all back together including the spring after a long hunt on the floor of the car, and a quick test of the bottons. still no lights working.
noticed my remote locking, and a few other things weren't working. blown fuse.
went off to get them and one to replace my hazards lights fuse (it hadn't been working for months!)
success!

all this just to replace a plastic cover ha!

I know someone with a pdf of the Bentley Golf Jetta R32 1999-2005 manual it covers 1.8 T, 1.9 TDI, 2.0 and 2.6 vr6.
The indexing works but the in text links do not.

If someone would want something like this send me a PM. It's about a 105MB file so I don't think it would email...

I also have a bazillion links, pdfs and other sourse info on VAG stuff (diagrams of all sensors attached to haldex controllers for example)

If anyone needs resourcing material let me know and I'll see what I have

I'm lucky enough to have both volumes of the Bentley manuals, covers everything. They are a godsend when you are stuck on something.

Graeme86 had it in his codes somewhere from memory. Yes you can do it on half height clusters, I've been meaning to have a look at doing it as well.

scraped all day and finally ripped off my add on lip also just posted up my borbet type a's for sale , seriously guys check them out . they are one of my all time favourite wheels and are unbelievably rare to get in a 17 inch
