last week I put a new front end on.
Including the ECS front bonnet extension, new lower front skirt, and badge less front grille.
Plastic welded insert in the top of the bumper. Urethaned, screwed, fiberglassed, and bogged front bonnet extension on. And custom fit the lower front skirt.
Heres the final product all painted, and polished. All done by myself.

How hard was it to do the hood extension mate? I want to look into getting it done.Originally posted by Rannerz View Postlast week I put a new front end on.

was a fair bit of mucking around. but wasn't too hard. The only problem i had is that on the very ends it started to crack the bog the slightest bit. lining it up was fairly easy. But the screws the supplied were rubbish.Originally posted by dubster99 View PostHow hard was it to do the hood extension mate? I want to look into getting it done.
Getting it done like mine may not be cheap. I did this all myself so i only had to pay for paint materials.
But I work for Smiths Bodyshop Paint and Panel in port adel. come in if you'd like a quote for the price if your keen.
Had a fair few map car owners and a few other VW drivers looking at it. Looks angry in my books
Also cut, glazed, ultrafina polished the whole car. And finished off with a detail and wax today. Looks fantasticLast edited by Rannerz; 11-05-2013, 02:40 PM.99 MkIV GTI
