What have you done to your mk4 (golf/bora) today?

  • lost the climatronic interior fan, wipers and indicators (hazard lights ok).

    75x earth connector loose..... pain the the odd end looking for it.... but earned few credits from the other half for fixing it. beer time !

      • finally got my bora up and running , i have no idea how i lived without the sound of a vr6 it is just sex on wheels ( no other words to describe it )

        also guys i really need to get rid of the parts car soon so hit me up for bits and peices sorry if i dident reply to anyone just been very busy lately .

                Looking good mate, I'm really digging the wheels and textured rub strips. Give it a different look to most Mk4s I see.


                As for keeping on topic for the thread and listing what I've done to my Mk4..... Nothing really. Re-fitted my bike rack. Contemplating a few new touches to keep things interesting but I want to keep it simple and not get carried away.

                • Installed a cold air intake yesterday! Went for a good drive last night.. sounds so good. Love it! Definitely feels more responsive with a bit more torque as well

                  • What have you done to your mk4 (golf/bora) today?

                    Finally got around to chase down a nuisance water leak. Damn sun roof drains!!! Stripped out whole interior fixed the leak, gave inside and trim a good clean all go's back together tomorrow.

                      • installed 20mm whiteline rear Sway bar on the bora . . so much more grip .. practically eliminated Understeer !

                              yes i am .. the car feels so much tighter .. turns much sharper .. i am running stock suspension as well .. i will post a DIY on how i did it .. as i couldnt find any info on the Net about Bora 4Motions ..
