    • Haha, it just looks so big because the k03 is so TINY. It's a gt2871r so not really a big turbo but should be good for a streetable setup with a bit of punch

Clutches can respond a lot to hot weather, so much so that you might have another year in it, but because they can get SERIOUSLY hot, you can experience slipping.
I'll have to wait for another hot Sydney day to see if it's any different and report back. I think there'll be a difference, but not TOO bad yet..

Did that this afternoon, engine struggled and revs didn't go up, good. It had only been running for a minute after sitting in the sun all day, so might be different when hot on a hot day..

I think I'll be right for a good few months before having to get one. Although I would love to get an ECS kit now and put it on the shelf until I need it, I simply can't afford it after moving house.

...But it will cost me more buying later on my own than to get it in the group buy.... sheeeet.

Nice! What'd the difference cost you? Essentially, my engine transplant up to the GTI cost me about $3500 ish, including timing belt, water pump etc..

Basically gonna chuck the R32 body kit, Work Meister wheels, RHD Xenons and other bits and bobs I'd amassed over the last couple of years to go on the 2.Slow onto the GTI. And While the GTI is in the shop I get to drive the 2.Slow around. hehe win win!
