I believe that my GIAC chip has been hard soldered into the ECU. Must have been before flash chiping was available.
So saying that, I always thought that it was an off-the-shelf chip that raised power from 110kw to 150kw.
I have no idea at what boost it is set at and even if I did, from what your saying, it may not give me any benefit adding a N75J.
I probably won't change a thing as it works just fine and as the saying goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
If I did need a re-map what does a custom code cost and could it be used in conjuntion with my chip or is it a complete re-map?
My RX7 is so much easier to work on and boost, as I've tuned the values to 20psi and if I only use 15psi, I simply turn down the turbosmart bleed valve.
