air ride?
2k will get you a cheaper setup, mine is about 2.5x that not include the control arms and drop plates...

But I went a bit over kill, decent dual compressors, dual tanks, gauges (not required with the elevel setup I have), bagyard struts, elevel.
All this stuff isn't necessary, its just what I wanted

yeah was a bit out of control, but wanted the best
its good! being able to slam the car for the show (even though its only .5cm lower then when I was static in the front atm) and then cruise low or have it nice and high for the drive home was great.

im yet to install the sensors, they are sitting there ready to go, maybe this weekend

man, wish they had those here.. MK4 Golf 5dr, but V6 4MO !!.. well looked after, going cheap.. :

There is one of those in Aus from memory - UK import - not sure where it's at these days ...

Remember cars in the UK get exposed to a lot more water than ours as well as salt on the roads so the underside of a UK car after 13 years might have a few surprises in store - that might be a reason for what seem like low relative resale values in the UK.

quite an easy job, especially if you have access to a hoist. Once it's done... life changer. haha

My only issue is car is undergoing some changes for more lows and I have about 4" of travel only bags plus different sized wheels and tyres so placement needs to be spot on
