What have you done to your mk4 (golf/bora) today?

Over the last couple of weeks I have installed my 42DD 3inch DP and 2.5 cat back (thanks to Greg at carformance), APR turbo inlet pipe, forge splitter and tonight got my ECU back from Tim with the GIAC chip installed. I have been driving around all night with a big grin on my face. Very happy chappy.

That's it we're going for a cruise !

Finished off Plasti Dipping my wheels .. got the OEM Bora Sport wheels and thought i'd give them a color to make them pop out ..

Nice one! I'm inspired! I'm thinking of plasti-dipping my wheels soon, and I never thought I'd go any other colour than a charcoal/graphite colour. But those are dope with the gunmetal grey/blue anthracite body colour.

I'm assuming that it's a 'pot' colour, not a can one?

No man that is a can color .. straight away .. just used some wax and grease remover after i cleaned the wheels. . and there it is .. i've only held a spray gun once in my life before got a really even finish ! very much recommend .. i was looking to go Orange .. but Forza 4 changed my mind

ahh bummer.

well got told my break light was out in the last 2 days of GAD trip, then noticed my tail light on the same side has gone.
I seem to go through a lot of bulbs in the tail lights of my bora. as far as im aware, wiring is all stock, except for having both fog lights working when I purchased the car. Anyone else have this issue?

take your lights out and check there hasnt been any water/condensation corroding the circuit board for your lights.

The product i bought is the same from the US .. the can color range is not very wide .. just you basic red , ble , yellow , white and black as far as i know .. anything else has to be mixed .. and done with some kind of special spray gun .. im not very experienced with that stuff .. so just went with red .. i was pondering orange first .. but ah well . pretty happy with the way it turned out ..
i bought my stuff from TJM as they are the only retailer in australia .. thought i'd support .. however you can get them cheaper from the US .. like 5 bucks or so ..

...now you mention the orange, maybe half way between your red & orange... hmmmm.... maybe one side of that & one side of dark metallic gunmetal grey, see which I like..

kenbot you can buy them off these guys, not only from the US GetDipped | Facebook can get them in the aerosol cans. they even have videos on how to do!

seems ok. Has been doing it forever, cant say I have even noticed the tail light fogging or collecting dust inside and thats a pet hate.

Set on ebay for $800, probably the going rate for them. Finding them much cheaper is pretty much luck
