Got my car back from the mechanics, new water pump, timing belt and belt tensioner. Also cleared all my fault codes and changed some sensors too.

Guys , something a little off topic .. i was wondering about the exhaust size on my Bora 4Motion .. what's a good recommendation for more power/growl .. nothing too loud , but just right for the VR ? i like the sound of Magnaflow's on 24V vr6's .. is it worth doing custom piping with high flow cats ?

Standard 4motion exhaust is already 2.5 inch stainless piping.
Change out the mufflers and cats with some high flow items.
You could also remake the rear section as it has a pancaked section just before the rear muffler.

Is it really 2.5" Wow. 2.5" mandrel-bent stainless steel was what I was going to go for to replace the stock system on mine. Going to go see Castle Hill Exhausts about it tomorrow if I get a chance.

I've seen and heard an R32 rear muffler on a Bora V6 4Motion (dyldo on here), it does sound very nice...

Yep. It's pretty good from the factory. Could really just do with changing out the monsterous rear muffler and redoing the pancake section!

Yeah I'm waiting for an r32 exhaust to become avail. I can't afford anything custom for mine.

With the Cat Converter .. i have 2 on the 4 motion .. is it possible to Y-piece that into a single high flow cat without creating issues ?

Just had Elite Euro fit a new Milltek SS system - the exhaust note is better defined and engine pickup/revs so much crisper.

After exactly 11 years of ownership, this car still gives me a lot of satisfaction.
