excuse the brick under the driver front wheel - i broke it with another brick trying to move it (and almost smashed a newly "painted" rim in the process). Needs to be shot to really judge gaps etc.
Do i spray the black plastic mesh grill inserts another colour? Dark cherry red or something?

Bora looks good but we need more pictures of that BMW 840(?) in the background I think.

Went for a long drive last night and at one point started getting a noise, went for about 5 minutes then stopped. This morning I went out to check what is was and found this
Any ideas how this is even possible? I checked all possible bits that may have been hitting the wheel and there is nothing with scrapes or dents or marks at all. The wheel was on tight and all other wheels are fine.

Pulled out the original factory radio to fit a deck I've had for ages but saw that the aerial connection was different.
I think I need one of these: Ryda Car Audio - Aerpro AP3421 Antenna European Adaptor($9.95)
I read somewhere that jaycar had a pin connection for the new deck but can't find the thread, does anyone have a link ?
Or do people just snip off the factory connection

you'll probably end up with rubbish reception without it. I found this link from uk-mkiv's really useful:

I bought mine from supercheap, was 4.95 i think. It wasnt that whole big thing, just a 3-4cm male end straight to female end. Works brilliant.

Could you have picked up a stone, had it wedged between caliper and wheel for a bit?

check the gap between caliper and wheel!!! looks to me like caliper is rubbing against the rim...What size wheels you running?? have you changed calipers??

Stock wheels, stock calipers. No mark on the calipers at all, visually checked all the way around and spun the wheels with no problem. Its really bewildering, unless its under full lock and the noise I was getting had nothing to do with it.

id go with Manaz theory on something being stuck between them.
Started my car this morning only to have it gently die on idle. restarted the car, smelt it running a little rich and got a 'immobiliser activated' message on the display in front of me. car seemed to be running in a light limp mode for the next 30mins or so before going back to normal...
drove for about 2hrs, stopped for fuel, went to start the car and no problems/messages... any ideas?
