  • Attached pic of size

Definitely going to lower 1" I agree doing this will make it look better.
I've only used the two 15mm spacers to either side atm. I'm fitting the two 20mm to the rear tomorrow and fitting 15mm to the front and will post pics for opinions.

          • Hey guys, just wondering if anyone is considering a Frankenturbo + tune upgrade; I'm looking to develop a bang for buck Stage 3 package for the Mk 4 GTI and would like a volunteer or two with discount incentives for your time.

Please see this thread here and of course visit FrankenTurbo Home to see what the fuss is all about. =)

                  • Apart from wheel issue fitted r32 front brakes and fitted the r32 exhaust only thing needed to fit exhaust was lengthen the pipe by 30mm and fitted new clamp also the rear tips will need to be lengthened to sit in bar.

                      • The pictures can do the explaining.

Took a good 45minutes to get this one out. (obligatory flip of the bird)

Glorious difference, was a pain to get the spring compressor out to put new strut top stuff in but we got it sorted pretty quick.

                        After

Edit: Need to raise the fronts about 2cms but everything else is spot on, no rubbing or knocking at all

Not sure yet once the tips are lengthened I'll try it stock then do mod and see difference.

                            • Dan - bora looks great! How's the ride??
Undisclosed - thanks for the info. Tyres on mine are 225 40 and they seem to look a tiny bit stretched (probably just the tyre design) so I should be fine. Pretty low. About 1 finger gap arch to tyre on 17's.
