          • Changed the ABS pump motor and the cable and drive pulley for the driver's side window. Changing the cable required some help...two hands weren't enough. And it's nice to have ABS again. Funny that shortly after I had the ABS working again, other drivers decide to test my ABS for me. Hmmmm....

              .

Its cool mate,I hit the face of the rim (20"a with the orbital sander and i was able to feather off the scratch lucky it wasnt deep. I had polished the face of the rims early last year. Looks like nothing ever happened.
Just gotta watch out for them swaying gutters now.
              Cheers

                • Did an Oil and fuel filter service this weekend.

I didn't like the look of the wood grain finish on my cars, so I carbon fibered it

                  • So after 11+ hours detailing the car. We increased the clarity ten fold, removed 90 percent of swirls and imperfections, and improved the depth a great deal too. It's liquid smooth and looks and feels fantastic. So stoked.

                    Used:
                    Dodo juice clay and lube
                    Mint apc
festool rotary, festool rotex, carcareproducts das6 pro
                    Menzerna polishes FG500, PF2500.
                    Mint apc wash again
                    Dodo juice lime prime
                    Duragloss 601 bonding agent
                    Duragloss 105 sealant
                    Duragloss 111 clear coat polish.

Will layer the car with dodo juice blue velvet wax soon, and. Top up with dodo juice red mist.

Thanks to pierre's rotary wielding skills and car care products.

I'm not a fan of carbon fibre that much, but absolutely hate the wood grain in a modern-ish car, looks completely out of place. I didn't see the before pics, but looks way better, I'm sure!

If I end up getting a GTI, wood grain is def getting removed!

                      PS - Advice needed..
I have front brake disc that has a screach, also it's 'on-off-on-off...', the brake pads have heaps of meat, so I don't know why it's screaching? I assume that the 'on-off-on-off...' nature is because of a warped/buckled disc. Any thoughts?

I've been offered 'machining' the front 2 discs for about $120-$160 at Pedders Mascot/Alexandria, or I could buy a new disc?

Looks good, reckon you should get a chrome badge, black out your rear view mirror and move your rego badge to your back left window.

Oh and get some OEM dual blinker headlights. <3

Oh and give me your new wheels, Thanks

                            • haha thanks dan, definitely not getting a chrome badge :p
but your others ideas are good - black rear view and i've been meaning to move the rego sticker back.. have to get aother sent out to me i reckon. dont want to try and move it and have it bork up on me.
thinking about it - could just rewire my fog lights into a turn signal somehow and get an amber bulb

Wow your running on the edge, I was always told don't go past 23psi

Aren't you afraid of overboosting and the rods?
