How good is the refresh on the wags! Wish my bodywork was a bit nicer. Other sections of the car would come up pretty good with some PDR and polish I feel.
Still yet to give it anymore than a wash unfortunately.
Cheers. Pretty happy with them!

Took the wagon through the black spur on the weekend with fairly minimal weight on board. Pretty happy with how it performs both power wise and handling. Much easy than when I took the bora through.
Makes the want for a quick steering rack higher on the list however.
Finally sorted new housing for the genuine Hella fog frames I picked up from Loon.
NOS DE without the crazy price tag.
Just need to sort some plugs for the wiring.

btw the refresh on the rims looks amazeballs. Did you just sand down the rash? Or had to fill?
Cheers! Pretty happy with how they came out considering they are just daily/legal wheels.
Not sure what happened in the end as the condition was so bad when I got them it was hard to tell what was rash and what was just failing finish. Feel a light amount of filling was done on 1 or 2.
Had a shop do it as painting is the only thing I'm not equipped to do (yet).

They came up a treat.
RE: R32 rack, you'll need the steering angle sensor / clock spring (it's all one unit) as well. Otherwise your ABS/ESP system will give a different reading to the physical rack and throw errors. A rack out of TT or S3 I imagine would be identical to R32.
Pretty sure I remember reading somewhere Simon stuck one in his Bora Turbo, he should have more info on this.2004 VW Bora 4motion | 3.2 Swapped - R32 Trimmings | BBS CH | Forever fixing this bitch

Makes sense, Iv been reading how I need to connect the steering angle sensor to my Satnav to get more accurate results so should have picked up on that.

Not much to update.
Passenger side Cv boot let go and drivers rear wheel bearing was getting loud.
Cv boot was a easy fix, the rear was not so much fun.
The orginal dust shield fell to pieces, not only were the caliper/carrier bolts rusty and siezed, any that had been out previously were rounded. the sensor was held in by a screw and two nuts which meant the new larger shield wouldnt fit.
Lucky I had the old rear bean from my bora in hand so new stub Axel and hardware went in with the bearing. Bigger dust shield is in preperation for 256mm rotors
