  • -Bows down to Wade-

    Look what I finally got...

One of 'em was even freshly refurbed!

And I'm liking 7" width for the moment, even if it isn't very wide they look great.

Very big thankyou to Wade for these, I couldn't believe how good the condition was. Hopefully I'll wrap 'em in tyres soon and they can go on the car!

EDIT: Oh, and i've just noticed, one of the wheels is missing the valve thingo. where do i get one?

Don't worry about it. When you get the tires the tire place can supply. Nice rims, BTW.

      • Those rims look even better in the flesh they are just too good I must say, perfect offsets too!

My S-lines are nice as well, still just have to hunt for those center caps though... Oh and BTW, that tire thats on one of the rims has 2 nails in it, me and my dad just saw them

          • New stickers for the centre caps would be on my list, personally I would go for VW caps, but thats just me.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

Don't you worry Aaron, new stickers are definitely on the cards and yes they'll be VW ones. But, tyres are more important right now. Should I just pick some up on eBay?

I've had a bit of a look around on eBay (not too recently) and to be honest I don't remember finding anything at all

Stretch? Dude...my VR is a fatty! She can only just handle 205's, let alone something that STILL won't even stretch like 195's. My idea on these wheels is like...OEM for the while, then when I find some awesome 8.5's all round I'll get them and stretch

                        • Nah dude not yet. People tell me GAP are good with their shipping time estimates, which means it SHOULD be in by about Friday. I'm assuming sometime next week though.

Yay for completely mechanically working car
