IMO the all white looks a bit body-kit-ish..I've steered well clear of that ever since first getting the car for a good reason...lol
In saying that I would have to say the same that the second option is what I would go for/ am going for... In saying that you can have my crystal clear turns if you want. The third option looks puss and looks like a bodykit, I don't think no one has ever really pulled that look off to be honest.

Make that 3 ****in hell!lol
You don't wanna swap indicators right? Mine aren't great..
I had a look at the grille blacked out but it looks WAAAYYYYYY too GL spec for me. No go. I want the door handles blended so they'll be white, and I'm going to do the front and rear bumper tops. I think I'll paint my own VR6 side strips, and leave Steve's GL spec ones black for now, and see what the white ones look like in comparison to black.Last edited by Mrk_Mickey; 30-03-2010, 10:19 AM.Mrk Detailing, premium automotive detailing. Bump...
Unfortunately no updates for this week (except that I installed the rest of my coolant system replacements) as my mate lost his garage priviledges through the weekdays and I haven't seen him this weekend.
I have decided that all top textured strips and door handles will be colourcoded. So that means side strips, top front bumper, top rear bumper. Option 2!

I reckon it will look even better than that photochop (no disrespect to the artist there), but polished to buggery (it's what you do) and some shiney black tyres and lower skirting, and that's going to look mint. Don't see many colourcoded white VR6s around. Get your big-people licence and consider losing the number plate protector for the sake of flushness.
Keep us posted how the smoothening goes, as I'd consider it on my spare bumpers.
Looks good mate, keep at it!

Looks good mate, keep at it!. When you say lower skirting do you mean an aftermarket sideskirt? Not sure I could hack that lol
Get my big people licence and lose the protector.....interesting....can't I take it off beforehand?I want new plates anyway...been considering replacing mine in the new style of euros, but then again i may as well make a combination of my own...

Nah I just meant the stock VR lower skirting,
I'd just go for the most flush white number plate you can, for that mega clean look, a mates mum has one of those flexi plates in gloss black on a black BMW....looks awesome, you can only see the silver numers (there's only 4 numbers, no letters) from a distance as there's no boarder on the plate... best personalized plate I've seen.

Got my camber kit on as well as the front swaybar this week....wow, I never knew swaybars were so difficult to install. My arms HATE me.
EDIT: rear swaybar installed now too. What a difference, absolutely awesome. No roll or twisting around corners whatsoever, much more eager to turn and hold it's bite
Unfortunately no new progress on bodywork yet...stay tuned...Last edited by Mrk_Mickey; 11-04-2010, 05:44 PM.Mrk Detailing, premium automotive detailing. Paint correction/protection specialist. PM me
