Yep. I should have assumed longer than a week, because I assumed a week when I thought he was going to say the weekend.Originally posted by Tim View Postseems to be the way most panel shops work from what ive seen. Always starts at a couple days and ends in weeks!
I'm not as frustrated as I thought I'd be actually...but still. Yeah I'll see how we go, he said give him a call tomorrow so I can work out a time to get my windscreen guy to come so there may just be hope yet. I'm not getting my hopes up though hahahahOriginally posted by Stephy View PostAll good things take time... As frustrating as it may be...Mrk Detailing, premium automotive detailing. This is qite normal hell, my vr was suppose to oly take 4 weeks to complete cause I told them to take there time...it took them 2 1/2 months but I wasn't fussed.
If its meant to be its meant to be. Don't rush them, its the worst the customer can do with a panel beater.I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...

Absolute truth right there boys. It'll frustrate me if it's not ready in time for Nats, but he reckons it will be and I won't push him

I agree entirely. But it doesn't mean I should nag him to work, because that WILL just compromise my car...lol.Originally posted by Spyda View PostIf they actualy worked it shouldnt take longer than 3days to do a quality job. Aussie panel beaters are the worst, and just because it takes ages doesnt mean you will get a quality job.
The way he explained it, he told me it wouldn't take more than ONE day! But hey...he's a panelbeater. It'll take a month.

The main reason is i know them very well and my old man rents his work shop from them.. So it's not really an accurate comparison. Haha.
