Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

The turbo will hit the brake booster . Also the turbo intake will be right next to the brake fluid reservoir .

Thanks Simon I'll let you know if I do. The engine was in immaculate condition so it will make a perfect base for it.

Thanks Seb I'm aware of the brake fluid reservoir issue and it will be sorted. As for the charge pipe the compressor housing needs to be rotated and moved and will face towards the P/S anyway, I simply put that photo up for illustration of progress thus far.

How's your VR6 turbo drag car going any more progress from when I saw it a couple years ago?

                        Thanks guys it's going well!

I installed the 02A shifter box recently and ordered my surge tank.

I got a 5L Proflow with dual 380LPH E85 pumps. Should do the job!

Lol. If that doesn't do the job; you've ****ed up.

Running bigger lines from tank to surge tank/to the rail?

Haha yeah big problem if I run out of fuel lol.

Running 8an (12.5mm) feed line and 6an (9.5mm) return line to the surge tank. Feed from the main tank to the surge tank isn't critical but most likely 6an.

Are you going to run the pumps sequentially or full ball all the time? That is some flow
