The Vento brings back good memories that I have of my Jetta A3 2.0 GL ,which I bought new in America in September 1993.It was in a colour called Turquoise.
I was so impressed with it that when I returned to South Africa in October 1995,I bought another new Jetta A3 1.8 CLX,in a colour called Emerald Pearl.

You have given me hope!!! I lose the MkV GTI 3 dr and MkII GTI 3 dr for my impending baby, and I was trying to think of what to get as a second car to sit beside the Jetta TFSI or Skoda RS. I used to have a Vento, but it was more like a Bento. Coming from a current BBS RS owner, that looks waaaaaaaay too hot!!!
