YEEEEEEAAAAHHH! Sweet to see another Coastie fella with a mk3!

That Mk1 you speak of - was it white/cream with DUB-Somthing plates? I saw a swweeet mk1 when I picked up some parts from the vw dealer at gossie. Same Day I saw a black 97 vento at the dealer up the road with red leather porsche seats. it was hot.

THIS car however, is awesome.

Dude you should tell your boss to stick it and coem to the nats. we could make it a road trip lol - it pretty much is anyway.

Yeah that Mk1 was mine. Gone now but not forgotten. Plate was DUB 11T. My new plate is DUB 11Z. That other Vento was not bad. Bit shabby though. I went up to have a look at it. It was an auto 260k on the speedo as well. He sold it for $6k. I got mine for half that with 165k on the speedo. And mine is manual.

The best thing about it was the porsche seats. I see some little chicky gettin round in it now. Horrible jap wheels on it too. Not my cup of tea. But each to their own.

yeh bro that is the biggest score. I had a chat to the seller of that other vento and he was full of ****. He was all like 'nah Jetta's are the sports model'. LOL. I reckon the wheels on that other vento were the ****test things ever. Ur mk1 was sweet. Welcome to the Mk3 Scene! lol. lovin the euro style

I'm extremely surpised with the ride quality for cheap coils. I had H&R in the Mk1 and they were awesome, so i am comparing to some pretty top shelf shizz. They will do, as i am not a race car driver. they are firm and only minor scrubbing on large dips in the rear. Overall, money well spent for the look i have achieved.

Yes they certainly are, easy to install and so far so good. Very pleased with the quality for the price i paid..
