My Car: An update...

It's all complete, they're just about to test it for noise in a couple of hours!!!

HAHAHAHA!!!

It has 2 "sports" (insert wank factor) mufflers and a hotdog...so it should be VERY quiet!!!

So, all the noise outta the beast will be induction!!!!

BRAP BRAP BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!!!!!

I've been home for 10mins now, and I still have the shakes!!

I'm sooo pumped!!!

It just passed the noise test. Legal limit in vic is 90db, and it was 85db at 4.5k rpm on throttle, and 90db on back off...

So, the exhaust is a lot quieter than the original 102db, but the induction noise is still there!!! GO BMC CDA!!!

On the plus side, the car is no longer running rich! Probably due to the lack of leaks and the repositioning of the o2 sensor!

Unfortunately the car has to sit around until I pass the EPA emissions test, but driving there will be great fun!!

UPDATE!!!

The EPA test was passed with flying colours!
Like previously stated, the noise was fine.

But the CO by volume was 0.00% at idle!!!

I'm really happy now!
My car is probably more road legal than anyones here!! Even unmodified cars!!!

Still looks like poo with crud paint and 4wd like appearance...LOL!
