I have been thinking about looking into this lately too. Would love to get my wheel (re?)wrapped in leather as the top is starting to perish.

Has anyone got a pic of what the stock leather wheel is supposed to look like?

But I wouldn't have thought that was leather...

Damn my car and it's conglomerate of parts. Like I said, been looking for a leather one anyway, would prefer the OEM+ look so am looking to get mine recovered or something similar... Ahh we will see.

my mum is a pattern/dress maker. she said she might be able to help with making a cover... if i can get a pattern made upand then post it, all you guys would have to do is buy, cut and sew the leather.... long weekend project ftw!!!

this is the easyest and cheapest option not bad either much better than the super cheap auto crap

i wouldnt bother with these guys there **** quality dont wrap around the wheel tight enough and dont feel very nice oh well worth a try anyways

oh i see... did you you buy one? you will find that they aren't actually made for the golf but they are for that particular wheel size. 14" if i remember?

yeah all well wasnt too expensive but it is better than having to put up with a massive rip in the leather
