I thought it could have been that is was the morning and it was cold and stuff like that... but it wasn't revving properly/right and idk something was funny about it. But then I drove and it sorta seemed okay, then the more I drove the better it was. Until I stopped the car and turned it on again, still didn't start properly. So I had a look... and then there was this
So I put some tape over it until I fixed it.
What is weird about it though it both ends are different sizes (only by the slightest.. bloody VW), so you either have to get one size too small or one too big, I went with the small and stretched one end with a lighter and pliers.
It's really simple to fix, just an easy pull out and put new one in sorta thing.
This is the hose I used.. lol
It's a little bit awkward to get to, well trying to push it in.. but after a couple of minutes it fit snugg and you'll be able to see both sides touching both walls.
My car started like a charm
I hope this helps anyone else who might also have this problem

The hose goes to the iacv/ISV valve which stabilises idle, also worth cleaning it out with carby cleaner. As for the replacement hose, got it from super cheap, the fairmont hose for whatever bit... Just take the old one (if split) down and compare it to their extensive selection of commodore and ford hosesI love cats.. idklol
