    What oil is in it?

You shouldn't have left the shop if it was going off.
I changed the oil to synthetic because its easier to find. That might be the problem. Its penrite 15w-40.

As for what they fixed. Complete front end suspension rebuild and oil changes.

Light only comes on after driving for 20kms or 30 minutes worth. Can't explain more then that.

    • Might be oil. 4 pots aren't as picky as the vr's though i don't think.

Could just be coincidence that your oil pump is gone

Could be the oil pump. Don't know. Speculation.

The cab is pretty picky. Might do an engine flush plus oil/filter on weekend and revert to old school oil.

Looks mad but not sure there is much benefit unless you're running more power/FI. Maybe less prone to cracking like the original ones but. I gathered you've seen this site where you can buy the kits?

                • I'd only consider it if my coilpack was already on its way out and wanted some benefits over the stock coilpack. Seems like a lot of effort too for not much benefit.

                    • It's not a heap of effort. Especially with the kits.

                                AFI (Australian fuel injection)
There in Mortdale, blokes there are very nice, prices are good, and there'd be able to pick up what your after quick, as I've sent a few other people there before.
I wouldn't go to the other stores as I've been told there services aren't good.

As for your coilpack issue, there's a reason why I hate bremi and brands alike, and all other inferior quality parts from german auto parts (GAP).
There sh*t breaks so easily, and just causes u more issues and money in the end.
I always just put that little extra in, and buy a more renown brand that's going guarantee me no issues and it's performance.
                                Buy the Bosch one.

Oh and u also get a warranty with parts from AFI.
