          8v MK2's are pretty simple/bullet proof.
All the engine (water/oil) seals bar the rear main are DIYable, and electrical problems aren't that hard to trace.

The only thing that put me off is the colour...

so the sunroof fuse always going would be easy to find? and after a lil reading in the mk2 section earlier, sounds like leaks in their sunroofs come from the lil pipes that drain them being blocked?

Couldn't comment on sunroofs, have never had one.
But so far, all my electrical problems have been because of poor earths/connections. (knock on wood)

              • replaced my girlfriends roof lining on her mk3 today with the help of my brother

couldn't believe how easy it actually is to do, amkes a massive difference to the interior (cause the roof doesn't touch your head anymore)

                • I need to do that to my G/Fs CL, her roof lining is saggy as. It just seems like a delicate job and I'm not a delicate person. Lol.
