Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

      No posts in 2016? Poor form Lanky.

      Catch up: Rocked Touaregs for ages, loved them, sold them. Went back to the Borbet's for a little while. Got IDF drop plates in the rear to centre the rear wheel to reduce some scrubbo. Purchased RS's, rebuilt RS's, rocked RS's for DOVW and daily-ed them for a couple of months and loved it. Purchase a 1.8t swap loom, so hope to throw one of those in the car this yeat. Front left BB5's silicone split and had slow leak, so pulled them off the car, and decided to sell. Ended up trading RS's and a few dollaridoos for a B1 Passat wags! Borbets back on the Mk3 for daily duties. And then H bumped my ol' thread.

      And on the ol' girl with the same adapters as the Touareg wheels too, worked perfectly.
